Brief history:
Built 1893 - 1896 of granite and Pennsylvania limestone. It has many
gargoyles of medieval design. Two flanking additions were completed in the late 1930's.
The building has undergone many other renovations since then. This
historic building houses many paintings and photographs dating from
the late 19th century. Activity, including cold spots and feelings
of being followed, seems to increase whenever
renovations are going on.
