"Get the keys, I'm getting too old for this"   As you can see on the graph, the frequency of this voice dips down below 300 Hz for portions of this EVP. The human voice can not make a sound with a frequency below 300 Hz. Click the graph to enlarge it.

"Get Keys"    CLICK TO LISTEN

These EVP's about keys make sense because in casemate 5 where they were recorded hundreds of people were held prisoner. Many of them died from dysentery. The apparition seen about the time of the recordings was in gray shirt and trousers. These EVP's could be the pleas for release of a Confederate prisoner who thinks he is still locked in.

Painful moan   CLICK TO LISTEN

In this EVP you hear a moan. All the investigators were out on the casement in the hallway at the time. Shortly after the moan there is what sounds like another word but we could not make out what it says.
"I'm here"    CLICK TO LISTEN

I'm Here is immediately after the bang.
